Tea party

3rd and 4th graders had fun at a tea party!
They found out that in 1662 a Portuguese woman, “Catarina de Bragança”,
popularized the idea of tea drinking experience. When she arrived to England, she
brought from Portugal packets of loose leaf tea in cratles labeled “Transporte de
Ervas Aromáticas”. It’s a theory that this was later abbreviated to T-E-A (tea).
Also, the tea and the biscuts were yummy!
